My client are an award winning, fast growing MSP in the North West of the UK. They are looking for a SQL DBA to join their growing Systems team. They are a dynamic and close knit team, with a good work life balance. The Role
This role is varied, please find below some of the main responsibilities we are looking for:
Backup and recovery strategies.
Monitoring.
Schema design and data modelling.
T-SQL coding.
Data migration.
High Availability design and implementation.
Design for performance and scalability.
Optimisation and tuning.
Main Skill-Set
We are looking for a good mix of the below skills, (not necessarily all of the below):
SQL
Microsoft Windows Server 2016
Active Directory
DNS
Firewalls
Desired Skill-Set
These are skills that would be an added bonus if you had them, (it is not compulsory for the role, but it will give you a chance to learn these tools over time):
MI/BI and data warehousing
