Strategy and Analytics – Project Delivery Specialist - PDM

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Under the guidance and review of Deloitte, responsible for all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, production support (performance monitoring), code/object deployment, developer support, problem-solving, and implementation efforts for multiple projects.
The Team
The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.
Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and qualifications.
5 to 10 years of Database administration in a Cloud Services model
5-10 years of DBA experience with SQL Server, Oracle or equivalent, preferably within the Azure platform
Minimum of 2 years’ experience administering and migrating Server databases in an enterprise environment
Familiarity with the relational database structure in detail, as well as have experience with backup/recovery, index tuning, database security, and other aspects of database support.
May be involved with other technologies that interface with the database management system, including cloud native and Deloitte-specific tools that support backup/recovery, monitoring, and database migration.
Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with rapid technology changes and complex customer requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable in a transactional high-volume, high availability production environment.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent customer requests.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
Ability to build solid relationships with members of Deloitte’s team, possessing the desire to work in a team environment and provide benefit to the team as a whole
Must be willing to live or relocate to San Antonio, TX
